Which do you like better?

[Two different perspectives of the same leaf]

.

I think the light from the sunset in this one is beautiful and the overall layout is more "polished"...

...but there's something about this one that I can't help liking.

I definitely understand your dilemma and especially with these two beauties. I agree with you about the second one, but, I would pick the 1st one in a heartbeat.

But that's just my opinion...

I like the lighting better in the first one, but I like that the second one is not centered.

the second one evokes the verse: "and such WERE some of you" 1 Corinthians 6:11 because you see the green ones in vivid contrast...(which only a few days ago..this one too was green

it really 'pops'

but then i tend to like snowflakes and egg yolks...

Wow! Two great shots! While I like seeing more of the stem on the second shot, the first one is the one that stands out for me. Just the DEPTH you captured of the leaf is tremendous. Such wonderful detail and beautiful color. OUTSTANDING!!

I think I like the first one better because as Jemi said, the colors are more vivid...but the second one is cool too!!

I would say the first. I like the area of focus and depth of field on the leaf. And the lighting is a bit warmer.

I don't really like the second one as much; it doesn't catch me as much. Plus it looks less like a doritos chip. :D

Basically it's the opposite of the lesser of two evils. They're bothe awesome.
