We've had a nasty blizzard for the last few days. The blowing snow and wind chills of 40 below zero weren't so wonderful but the full-circle sun dog was awesome! :)

Deer Hunting

The MN deer hunting season opened yesterday. Between the two of us, Dad and I saw maybe eight deer but no bucks. The only thing that came into range was a yearling fawn that showed up by my stand just as it got dark yesterday evening. He wouldn't leave me alone so I tried to take a picture of him with a flash. It didn't really work cause the flash didn't want to go that far but he would just stare at me funny whenever the camera bulb flashed. The only thing the camera picked up was the reflection in his eyes...
