I have a soft spot for lilac buds. Do you remember playing under the lilac bushes in the corner of our yard at Taylor St.? I would harvest the buds to make us "food". :) I was alarmed when someone told me not to pick them all 'cause the bush wouldn't make more flowers next year if I did. ;)
