I guess I must not have been paying much attention over the years, but this is the first that I've really noticed how lovely Virginia Creeper is when it turns colors in the fall. It brings such joy to see that burst of scarlet on tree that is otherwise wearing more muted browns, greens, and golds. The contrasting orange/scarlet and brown here in these pictures are magnificent!

The light in these fall colors posts is so lovely. Late afternoon? So perfectly matched with the subject of the photos.
