We've had a lot of rain lately.

Our nearest lake is usually about eight miles away. This week, we don't have to go that far to find one.

This is our neighbor's pasture. Needless to say, it's not usually this wet. :)

...and this is another neighbor across the field. Nope that's not usually a lake...it's supposed to be a bean field. Too bad it isn't duck hunting season.

Then there were three...

Our three black kittens decided the deck was the best place to spend a hot afternoon.

~Whenever I pointed the camera at him, he'd wake up from his nap and strike a pose~

~I don't know where the third one came from. He showed up in the barn yesterday and has been hanging out with Karl and Larry ever since... :) As of right now, he doesn't have a name but he is affectionately known as "The Boogie Monster."~
