Then there were three...

.
Our three black kittens decided the deck was the best place to spend a hot afternoon.
.
.
~Whenever I pointed the camera at him, he'd wake up from his nap and strike a pose~
.

~I don't know where the third one came from. He showed up in the barn yesterday and has been hanging out with Karl and Larry ever since... :) As of right now, he doesn't have a name but he is affectionately known as "The Boogie Monster."~

Love the pictures! They are so cute. I discovered yesterday that there is a mama cat and kittens (although I have not seen the kittens, only heard them) under the window boxes in the front of our house. The Boogie Monster huh? Interesting...

"Boogie Monster" is definitely original. :P I am loving the little fluffy guys and also the touch of Lightroom.

Mousers! You might enjoy reading the two posts about my kitties and the bobcat and then the skunk...
I should link to your skunk picture for am illustration to my tale. Do you have bobcats in your neck of the woods? Or mountain lions?

Oh, he's beautiful.

If your other cats were Larry and Moe, instead of Larry and Karl, this one could definitely be Curly!

He is beautiful - great eyes...

Jeannette - We don't have bobcats around here. There are more of them in far northern Minnesota. Mountain Lions aren't supposed to live around here either but there are occasional reports of them in the area. Mom is pretty sure she heard one one night and people have seen tracks. They're supposedly just passing through... :)

We're thinking about renaming the kittens Athos, Aramis, and Porthos after the Three Musketeers. They don't come when you call their names anyway so I don't think they'd notice the difference. Maybe we'll name the fourth grey one D'Artagnan... :)

Oh, the cutie-heads!!!!!! I think you should keep the names they already have... Fred would be a good name for the third. ;) Yup, I think Fred is a very good name. lol
