I think it goes without saying that this in an awesome photo. Question: How do you organize your photos? Im faced with the prospect of organizing the past 1500 or so of pics that ive just dumped into a Temp folder. Also, don't you shoot in RAW? Just wondering of any advantages you've seen in doin that.
I don't do anything very special to organize my photos. I generally have a "photos to back up" folder that I put the photos in that I really like--the ones that I think might come in handy later. Then I try to delete all the bad ones...if there's more left after that, I generally just leave them and decide later whether I want to keep them or not. ;) Not a great system, but it works for me.
In terms of shooting RAW. I don't generally do it. It's a hassle to do RAW photos on my computer cause I have to use a different program to even look at them. I sometimes shoot RAW if I really think I'm working with something that people will want big prints of. If I do that, I'll look at them on the computer and maybe keep a couple in RAW form but then compress the rest to jpeg's. RAW photos are nice for doing a poster size print if I wanted to do that, but with the 14.7 megapixel sensor on the G10, I'm generally able to do about a 24 inch print with a jpeg...so it really doesn't make much difference for what I work with. :)
