Wow, you really got close to that flycatcher. It's an amazing picture! You can see the color patterns and textures in his teeny little feathers. The catbird has quite the stare, doesn't he? (Or is it a she?) Didn't we have a lot of those in Florida? The mourning dove's feathers look so soft! Like pudding on your tongue. (Is that a wierd thing to say about feathers? I suppose it is.) I do believe I saw a cowbird the other day, hopping in a field of some sort as I drove past in the car. I haven't seen too many of them around here.
